Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an Environmental Incident Advisor to investigate incidents, analyse data and drive learning across the business. The role involves preparing accurate technical information for the regulator and collaborating with teams to improve environmental performance.

You will contribute to pollution reduction initiatives, work on 36 hours per week in a hybrid setting, and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely, clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Curious, proactive and able to take initiative.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate environmental incidents and review technical documents for the regulator.
• Interpret and analyse scientific reports and data on environmental impact and performance.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify event learning and share it with colleagues.
• Respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Coach and support team members to improve performance.
• Contribute to pollution reduction discussions and initiatives.
