Job summary

Raymarine in Fareham, UK seeks a proactive Facilities & EHS Manager to oversee the safe and compliant operation of its UK facility. You will lead environmental, health and safety initiatives while managing facilities, budgets and contractor relationships within a high‑tech marine electronics environment.

The role requires experience in facilities and EHS management, knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, and a track record of continuous improvement across multinational teams.

• IOSH Membership.

Responsibilities

• Facilities Management: manage site facilities, buildings, infrastructure and grounds; manage budgets and expenditure; ensure business continuity and resilience; effective contractor and vendor management.
• EHS: develop, implement and maintain EHS policies; ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations; conduct workplace inspections, audits and safety reviews; investigate accidents and incidents; support occupational health initiatives.
• Environmental & Sustainability: develop environmental programs; manage waste reduction, recycling and resource efficiency; support energy management and carbon reduction; track environmental KPIs and sustainability targets.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and Raymarine policies; undertake mandatory training; manage regulatory compliance programmes.

The Facility also houses back-office functions in support of our main R&D, Service & Repair operations.The Facilities & EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company facilities while leading environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across the organization.
