Job summary

Raymarine, part of Teledyne Technologies, seeks a proactive Facilities & EHS Manager at its Fareham HQ to lead safe, compliant, and efficient operations. You will oversee facilities, environmental health & safety programs, and sustainability initiatives, guiding contractor management and incident investigations.

The role supports R&D and service functions while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Occupational Health & Safety qualification.
• IOSH Membership
• IWFM Qualification
• Significant experience managing Facilities and/or EHS functions.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance programmes.
• Experience leading accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Experience in multinational organisations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all departments.
• Experience managing capital projects and facilities upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and grounds.
• Manage facilities budgets and expenditure.
• Manage business continuity plans and critical infrastructure resilience.
• Ensure effective contractor and vendor management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and root causes.
• Support occupational health initiatives and employee wellbeing.
• Develop environmental management programs.
• Manage waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency initiatives.
• Support energy management and carbon reduction programmes.
• Track environmental KPIs and sustainability targets.
• Carry out the role in accordance with all relevant legislation and Raymarine policies.
• Undertake all mandatory training as requested.
