Wokingham Borough Council is hiring an Environmental Health Officer/Enforcement Officer (Private Housing) to join our Enforcement & Safety Service. This full-time, permanent position focuses on Private Housing Standards and improving living conditions across the borough.

You will assess housing conditions, inspect properties, handle licence applications and work with residents and landlords to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Environmental Protection law and good practice.

Responsabilités

• Protect and improve environmental standards, including private water supplies, air quality and land contamination.
• Tackle complex environmental and regulatory challenges.
