Job summary

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Hull to tackle environmental crime and improve local spaces. This field-based role blends enforcement with public engagement and community support, patrolling areas and helping keep them clean, safe and compliant.

You’ll be at the front line of keeping areas clean, safe, and compliant, with duties including responding to public reports and coordinating with local partners.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (essential).
• Professional and calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently.
• Experience in enforcement, security or customer-facing roles desirable.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences.
• Enforcing regulations around littering, fly-tipping and waste management.
• Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where required.
• Investigating incidents and responding to public reports.
• Engaging with community members, businesses and stakeholders.
• Carrying out follow-up visits to ensure compliance.
• Supporting wider community safety initiatives.

ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: boston PE21 Area
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 8-hour shifts between 07:00 – 19:00 (Monday to Sunday, rotational weekends)
Requirement: Full UK manual driving licence (company vehicle provided)
