Job summary

Middlesbrough Council is seeking an Environmental Enforcement Officer to help keep our town clean and safe. You will assess environmental offences, issue notices where appropriate, and work with the police and other agencies to support our community. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, based in Middlesbrough with occasional on-site duties. This is a community-focused position that rewards people who can build great relationships and act

We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Service as an Environmental Enforcement Officer.

Middlesbrough Environmental Enforcement Officers are passionate about our town, they build confidence within our community, and they can be often found checking on the welfare of those residents who are isolated, making a huge difference to our community spirit, they work tirelessly with the police and other agencies to make our town a cleaner and safer place to live and work.

Being an Environmental Enforcement Officer can be fun and extremely rewarding (just ask them!).
