Job summary

Middlesbrough Development Corporation is seeking an Environmental Enforcement Officer to help keep our town clean and safe. You will support the community, check welfare of isolated residents, and work with the police and other agencies to improve town safety and wellbeing.

The role requires enforcing environmental crime rules, building trusted relationships, and using initiative in challenging situations. A full UK driving licence is essential; enhanced DBS check will be required; working

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Job description

We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Service as an Environmental Enforcement Officer.

Middlesbrough Environmental Enforcement Officers are passionate about our town, they build confidence within our community, and they can be often found checking on the welfare of those residents who are isolated, making a huge difference to our community spirit, they work tirelessly with the police and other agencies to make our town a cleaner and safer place to live and work.

Being an Environmental Enforcement Officer can be fun and extremely rewarding (just ask them!).
