Job summary

North East Lincolnshire Council is inviting applications for an Environmental Enforcement Assistant to join our Environmental Health & Housing team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will investigate environmental issues such as fly-tipping, waste offences and nuisances, carry out inspections, gather evidence, and work with residents, businesses and partner agencies to improve compliance and protect the local environment.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with complaints, investigations or customer-facing situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
