Job summary

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Enfield to patrol areas, enforce environmental regulations, and educate the public. The role is field-based and contributes to cleaner and safer communities.

We value strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Training will be provided; temporary position with potential for permanent transfer depending on performance and need.

Qualifications

• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to identify environmental offences
• Enforce regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and waste management
• Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and prepare reports
• Respond to public complaints and conduct follow-up visits
• Monitor compliance and take further action where necessary
• Prepare case files and support legal proceedings where required
• Work closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents
• Using surveillance equipment where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: Enfield, EN1 area

Pay: £14.80 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Shifts: 5 set days (including 1 weekend day) – 07:00–17:00

About The Role

Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for confident, professional, and proactive Environmental Enforcement Officers to support the local community in Enfield.

This is a field-based role where you will help reduce environmental crime, promote compliance, and improve public spaces by enforcing local regulations and educating the public. You will play a key role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling assigned areas to identify environmental offences
• Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and waste management
• Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate
• Investigating incidents, gathering evidence, and preparing reports
• Responding to public complaints and conducting follow-up visits
