Sulzer Pumps (UK) Ltd. is seeking an experienced Environmental professional to lead the strategic environmental agenda across our UK & Ireland sites, focusing on compliance and sustainability.

This role sits at the heart of our manufacturing and service locations, driving improvements and ensuring regulatory alignment. You will work with site leaders to implement ISO 14001, monitor performance, and champion energy reduction and waste minimisation initiatives across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance within manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and management systems.
• Proven experience with ISO 14001 and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve Sulzer's ISO 14001 EMS across UK & Ireland sites.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regs.
• Drive environmental and energy initiatives aligned with sustainability goals.
• Conduct audits, assessments and compliance reviews across locations.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support carbon reduction, waste minimisation and resource efficiency projects.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions with site teams.
• Engage with internal teams and external bodies on best practices.
