Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking Environmental Crime Officers to join the Environmental Crime Unit, based at The Weighbridge Site in Northwood. You will enforce environmental laws across the city, handling issues from fly tipping to littering and ASB, with both high-visibility and covert patrols.

Responsibilities

• Carry out environmental enforcement activities per legislation (fly tipping, litter, etc.).
• Support delivery of enforcement services across the city.
• Respond to low-level ASB linked to environmental issues.
• Take enforcement actions including FPNs and CPWs/CPNs.
• Undertake high visibility and covert patrols in hotspot areas.
