Job description

Alexander Steele are working with an established FMCG business which are going a period of growth. This a new position within the business and the ideal candidate has a real dedication to Environmental Awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring we meet all relevant UK environmental legislation, permits, and standards (including EA regulations and ISO 14001), while supporting external audits and inspections.
• You'll lead on waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency projects—working closely with production and supply chain teams to identify improvements and embed best practices.
• You'll also be responsible for tracking key environmental metrics such as energy, water, and emissions, reporting on progress against internal and customer-driven sustainability targets.
• This is a hands-on role where you'll deliver training, toolbox talks, and site-wide engagement to build a strong environmental culture. If you're proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about sustainability, we’d love to hear from you.

On Offer

• up to £32,000
• Monday to Friday - 38 hours p/w - 8.30am-5pm - On site
