Environmental Coordinator

Redditch

Up to £32,000 per annum DOE

Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00

We are looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join our client’s team and play a key role in supporting and developing their Environmental Management System, driving legal compliance, and promoting best practices across site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the implementation, maintenance, and development of the site’s EMS.
2. Assist in achieving and maintaining ISO 14001 accreditation.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant UK environmental legislation, including waste management, emissions, energy usage, and chemical handling.
4. Monitor, analyse, and report environmental performance metrics (e.g., energy use, emissions, recycling, and waste).
5. Coordinate and support environmental audits and inspections, including managing corrective actions.
6. Act as the key liaison with external regulatory bodies.
7. Deliver training and provide guidance on environmental practices across the business.
8. Contribute to sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives.
9. Maintain accurate records and submit required environmental reports.
10. Investigate environmental incidents and assist with root cause analysis.
