Job description

Alexander Steele is working with an established FMCG business that is experiencing a period of growth. This is a new position within the company, ideal for candidates with a strong dedication to environmental awareness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance and Audits: Ensure adherence to all relevant UK environmental legislation, permits, and standards, including EA regulations and ISO 14001. Support external audits and inspections.
2. Environmental Projects: Lead initiatives on waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency. Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to identify improvements and implement best practices.
3. Monitoring and Reporting: Track key environmental metrics such as energy, water, and emissions. Report on progress against internal and customer-driven sustainability targets.
4. Engagement and Training: Deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, and promote site-wide engagement to foster a strong environmental culture.

On Offer

• Salary up to £32,000
• Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, on-site
• 33 days annual leave
