Job description

On behalf of a major installations client, WRS is searching for an Environmental Coordinator to work on a capital Green Energies project in North East England. The role will be offered on a 12-month renewable contract and paid a daily rate that is all-inclusive.

Role Offers:

• Contractor role, full-time
• Outside IR35
• Working model: onsite, some travel to the London area will be required
• Location: Teesside (and occasionally in London)
• Competitive paid daily rate
• Start date: as soon as a successful candidate is identified

Responsibilities:

• Implement construction environmental management plans for onshore and offshore activities
• Review and monitor subcontractor compliance with environmental requirements
• Manage site environmental issues
• Coordinate and communicate with environmental agencies, local authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders
• Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVIDs, environmental plans, reports, data analysis, and investigations
• Conduct onsite activities including audits, training, inspections, and produce relevant reports and data

What are we looking for?

• British passport holder
• Education: BEng or BSc in engineering, majoring in environmental or similar
• Experience: 5-8 years in offshore and onshore projects
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
