On behalf of a major installations client, WRS is searching for an Environmental Coordinator to work on a capital Green Energies project in North East England. The role will be offered on a 12-month renewable contract with an all-inclusive paid daily rate.
Role Offers:
- Contractor role, full-time
- Outside IR35
- Working model: onsite, some travel to the London area will be required
- Location: Teesside (and occasionally in London)
- Competitive paid daily rate
- Start date: as soon as a successful candidate is identified
Responsibilities:
- Implement construction environmental management plans for onshore and offshore activities
- Review and monitor subcontractor compliance with environmental requirements
- Manage site environmental issues
- Coordinate and communicate with environmental agencies, local authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders
- Perform environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting, data analysis, and investigations
- Conduct onsite activities including audits, training, inspections, and produce reports and data
What are we looking for?
- British passport holder
- Education: BEng or BSc in engineering, majoring in environmental or similar
- Experience: 5-8 years in offshore and onshore projects
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification
