Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking an Environmental Specialist to lead environmental management across major projects. You will drive ISO 14001 compliance, oversee audits, and coordinate improvement initiatives while engaging internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires extensive HSEQ experience, a degree in a related field, and a Lead Auditor qualification. Hybrid working with a competitive package is offered. A current driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and sustainability requirements.
• Lead Auditor qualification and practical auditing experience.
• Proven ability to review, implement and enhance HSEQ management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental management across SP Transmission projects and ISO 14001 compliance.
• Audit programmes and audits against ISO 14001; drive improvements.
• Coordinate environmental performance reporting and stakeholder engagement.
