Job summary
SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, is seeking an Environmental Advisor in Edinburgh to maintain ISO 14001 accreditation and provide specialist environmental guidance to project teams. The role involves liaising with regulators, developing Environmental Management Plans and supporting environmental reporting across engineering activities.
You will join a team focused on sustainable project delivery, and a hybrid working pattern is offered with three days in office and two days
Qualifications
- Degree in environmental discipline and understanding of current environmental legislation.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and environmental auditing.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continually improve the internal Environmental Management System to achieve ISO 14001 accreditation.
- Provide support and advice to project teams to ensure compliance with environmental requirements.
- Develop Environmental Management Plans and monitor licence requirements throughout delivery.
- Engage with regulators and stakeholders to support environmental reporting and performance.
