Environmental & Compliance Advisor

Production Engineering Section

A permanent vacancy has arisen within our Production Engineering Section for an Environmental & Compliance Advisor.

Supporting the Senior Environmental & Compliance Advisor, the successful candidate will assist in compliance deliverables. The main focus will be to provide expert environmental advice, ensure client sites comply with all applicable environmental regulations, and support the implementation of business operating improvements to achieve our clients' objectives in the drive to Net Zero.

Salary: Up to £45,000 (Dependent on experience)

Hours of work: 7am – 4pm (Monday – Thursday), 7am - 12pm Fridays

Main duties include:

1. Ensuring all aspects of Environmental, Safety, and Quality are documented and embedded into our processes.
2. Providing feedback and technical expertise in understanding, interpreting, and implementing relevant directives.
3. Assisting operations management in maintaining compliance with environmental matters and investigating issues.
4. Collaborating with the Engineering/Facilities and Maintenance team to advise on environmental issues affecting the business.
5. Understanding and supporting the management and implementation of COSHH regulations.
6. Supporting the business with requirements of relevant standards and regulations.
