Principal People is partnering with a major infrastructure contractor to recruit an Environmental Advisor for the Thames Water region. The hybrid role involves travel across the region and close collaboration with operational and project teams to promote environmental excellence.

You will support the environmental strategy, ensure compliance with legislation and management systems, and drive continuous improvement across project delivery.

Formación

• Environmental qualification or related degree is required.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and management systems.
• Confident communicator with ability to engage operational teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Support the delivery of the environmental strategy across the framework.
• Provide practical environmental advice and support to site teams.
• Review high‑risk method statements, risk assessments and environmental documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, environmental reviews and audits.
• Support environmental compliance across all project stages.
• Investigate environmental incidents and non‑conformities; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Monitor environmental performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver environmental briefings, training and best practice guidance.
• Support supply chain onboarding and ongoing environmental performance monitoring.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and regulatory stakeholders.
