Job Description

To support the Contract Environmental functions, provide and support the development of Environmental solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management System.

To build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of Environmental Performance on the Contract.

Responsibilities

1. Support and influence the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Teams and build relationships with Stakeholders to successfully implement the SHE Management System.
2. Support and, where required, deliver training to enable the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System.
3. Support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors in delivering the Contract Environmental requirements.
4. Provide feedback on the performance during the ongoing assessment of the Contract's Supply Chain Contractors.
5. Support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives.
6. Engage with the Contract Environmental Assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements.
7. Support the investigation of unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, sharing lessons in accordance with the SHE Management System.
8. Support timely reporting, analysis, and use of Environmental data to assist the Contract Leadership Team.

Essential Qualifications

• Environmental-related experience.
• Environmental degree or equivalent.
• AIEMA or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• PIEMA or equivalent qualification.
• Modules in Environment and Sustainability within courses.
