Job Description

Aureos is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our growing energy team in Andover.

Summary

The role is to provide technical support to one of our projects based in Andover.

Day-to-day tasks will include:
  1. Coordinate pre-construction environmental assessments (e.g., ecology surveys, archaeology surveys) and advise on the programming of works in relation to observed constraints.
  2. Manage waste records used to populate Aureos and client decarbonisation tools.
  3. Coordinate the acquisition of permits from environmental regulators (e.g., waste management licences for yards).
  4. Support project teams on rebuild OHL projects to discharge Section 37 planning conditions.
  5. Conduct inspections of active work zones and audits of key environmental documentation.
  6. Support the delivery of business-wide sustainability targets.
Qualifications and Training

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • An Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field, preferably with a postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., infrastructure, environmental/planning/statutory body/consultancy dealing with major consenting projects).
