Are you a qualified Environmental Risk Advisor with current knowledge of all industry ISO standards?

About the Role
  • Salary: £36,407 per year + Car or Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Benefits
  • Location: Anywhere in the UK
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation, review, and continuous improvement of SUEZ UK's integrated management systems (IMS) in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Serve as the national focal point for annual surveillance and scope extensions of SUEZ UK's IMS for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation.
  • Ensure alignment of management systems with Energy Operation Management Systems (OMS) and site-specific systems.
  • Support carbon and energy efficiency reporting, including sustainability reports, SECR, ESOS, UK renewable energy statistics, and pollution inventory reporting.
  • Assist in waste classification processes and support the rollout of digital waste tracking systems.
  • Provide reports, guidance, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects related to governance and reporting within the EIR department and wider business.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences or related qualifications (e.g., WAMITAB).
  • Professional membership of relevant bodies to stay updated with standards.
  • At least three years' experience with Management Systems, including writing, reviewing, and maintaining them.
  • Knowledge of legal reporting requirements such as waste returns, energy efficiency, and permits.
  • Strong project management skills and understanding of project approaches.
