Job summary

WSP is looking for an Associate with environmental acoustics expertise to join our UK Acoustics team in London. You will work on large, technically challenging projects, delivering acoustics deliverables and mentoring junior staff.

You will engage with clients, shape acoustics advice for consent routes, and contribute to cross-disciplinary teams to advance best practices within a global firm.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
• Corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA).
• Demonstrable experience in environmental acoustics.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver acoustics deliverables on large, technically challenging projects.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the team’s technical advancements.
• Understand consenting/approval routes and tailor acoustics advice accordingly.
• Collaborate across sectors including residential, energy, commercial and infrastructure.
