Job summary

WSP – Join us and make your career future ready! We are seeking an experienced Associate to lead our flagship acoustics projects across national and strategic advisory work, spanning sectors such as renewable energy, commercial, residential, sports and infrastructure.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver client-focused, value-driven solutions while promoting WSP culture through a collaborative approach and flexible hybrid working across the UK.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree or equivalent qualification, and corporate membership of the Institute of Acoustics (MIOA / FIOA).
• Demonstrable experience in environmental acoustics, with a thorough understanding of environmental acoustics and be capable of technically reviewing reports and proposals prepared by others.
• Excellent technical, project management, presentation, report writing, commercial, health and safety, personal organisation and communication skills.
• An enthusiastic, energetic outlook and willingness to learn, with a social and team spirited attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead flagship acoustics projects ranging from national significance to advisory engagements.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team’s technical advancements.
• Collaborate with in-house environmental, sustainability, and other engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Promote client-focused, value-driven approaches and cross-sector best practices.
