Job summary

Clancy seeks an experienced Environment Manager to lead environmental delivery on two major South Coast projects, based in Andover. You will coordinate permits, compliance and ecological requirements, guiding site teams and consultants to uphold high environmental standards.

You will influence project teams, drive environmental performance, and support a strong sustainability culture across construction activities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and permit/regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental management plans and controls.
• Proven ability to influence operational teams and stakeholders to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day environmental delivery across two major projects.
• Manage permits, licences, consents and approvals throughout construction.
• Coordinate ecological, environmental and archaeological requirements.
• Develop and maintain Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs).
• Deliver audits, inspections, incident investigations and compliance reporting.
• Drive improvements to environmental performance and sustainability objectives.
• Build relationships with regulators, clients and landowners.
