Position Overview:

This role analyzes the work environment, culture, and policies to improve Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance, with approximately 75% focus on HSE and 25% on Environmental. It involves workplace inspections and developing, implementing, training, and auditing compliance programs to prevent injuries, diseases, and environmental impacts.

What you will be doing:

• Plan, organize, and monitor HSE risks and controls, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support compliance with H&S policies and standards.
• Develop and maintain HSE & ERT Procedures.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations.
• Conduct HSE training sessions.
• Perform daily field audits (LCPs, My Check 5s).
• Participate in risk assessment audits (PHA, CTA, JSA).
• Report quarterly on HSE training programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years’ experience in chemical plant/refinery sector preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in multiple HSE areas preferred.
• Knowledge of UK/European HSE regulations and standards.
• Experience with incident investigation, emergency response, and industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
