Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson is seeking a Consents & Environment Manager for a major infrastructure project in Scotland. The role leads on consents discharge, licensing, and prepares environmental contract specifications to support timely delivery.

You will build critical external stakeholder relationships with consenting bodies, authorities and consultees, driving regulatory performance and ensuring compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable project management experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Ideally an Environmental related degree with postgraduate qualification.
• Membership of an environmental professional body desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead on consents condition discharge, environmental licensing, and preparation of environmental contract specifications to ensure timely project delivery.
• Tender, award and manage multiple consultancy contracts to support environmental services.
• Develop external stakeholder relationships with consenting bodies and authorities, communicating project requirements to build consensus.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and audits to ensure environmental and planning consent compliance.
