Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Commercial Manager to strengthen our Environment team in the UK, focused on contract and commercial matters essential to business success. You will lead bids, manage client and supplier relationships, and coach junior staff across the project lifecycle.

You will provide strategic commercial guidance, support governance, and mentor Capture Managers and Project Managers while ensuring DoA compliance and robust risk management. This is a hybrid, senior commercial leadership role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial activities on bids and projects.
• Ability to provide governance and strategic advice across project lifecycles.
• Strong track record in contract negotiations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial matters for the Environment BU and bid teams.
• Develop and execute commercial strategies and pricing analyses.
• Mentor junior colleagues and ensure compliance with Delegations of Authority (DoA).
• Provide guidance to Operations teams and other Commercial colleagues.
