Job summary

Avtron is seeking an Environmental Engineer to develop and maintain its environmental, sustainability and CSR programmes at its site in Easton on the Hill, Stamford. The role focuses on ensuring environmental compliance and supporting the ISO 14001 EMS while driving initiatives to reduce environmental impact.

You will lead audits, monitoring, and reporting on waste, energy, water usage, and carbon emissions, and you will deliver training across the business to raise awareness of environmental

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability or related discipline.
• Previous experience in Environmental, Sustainability or CSR role, ideally in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 14001, environmental legislation, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting, sustainability initiatives, waste management, energy management and carbon reduction.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
