Accrofab Ltd in Alcester is seeking an entry level Setter/Operator - Welder Fabricator to join our Manufacturing Team. The role involves manual TIG welding and fabrication of components to customer specifications, with reading of welding symbols on WPS and drawings.

You will set components to match casting specifications, use air and hand tools safely, and uphold EHS and housekeeping standards. The position offers a day shift pattern with paid breaks and progression opportunities.

Formación

• Experience with TIG welding on thin gauge material is required.
• Ability to read welding symbols, WPS and engineering drawings.
• Safe use of air tools and hand tools as part of fabrication.
• Team orientation with strong attention to detail and first-time quality.

Shift Pattern: Day Shift; 07.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 07.30 to 12.30 with designated unpaid breaks.

Opportunity Summary:

W e have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Team and are currently recruiting for an Entry Level Setter/Operator - Welder Fabricators.

Role Accountabilities:

• Manual TIG welding and fabrication of components to company and customer specification.
• Understanding of and safe use of air tools and hand tools.
• Read and understand welding symbols as detailed on WPS and Engineering Drawings.
• Ability to correctly set components to casting to suit customer specifications.
• Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and report any concerns to supervision.

Requirements:

Experience of TIG Welding - minimum one year

Experience of welding thin gauge material (0.4-1.0mm)
