Accrofab Ltd in Alcester is seeking a Linear TIG Welder to join our Manufacturing Team on a late shift from 16:45 to 02:45, Monday to Thursday with designated breaks.

You will perform manual TIG welding and fabrication to customer specifications, read welding symbols, and ensure compliance with WPS and drawings while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Competenze

• Experience welding thin gauge material (0.4–1.0 mm).
• Experience with nickel-based alloys.
• Preferably some background in IGT, aero, or automotive sectors.
• Ability to read welding symbols on WPS and drawings.

Mansioni

• Manual TIG welding and fabrication to specifications.
• Read and interpret welding symbols on WPS/drawings.
• Set components to casting to suit customer specs.
• Comply with EHS requirements and report concerns.

Shift Pattern:

Late shift working 16.45 – 02.45 Monday to Thursday with designated breaks.

W e have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Team and are currently recruiting for a Linear TIG Welder.

Role Accountabilities:

• Manual TIG welding and fabrication of components to company and customer specification.
• Understanding of and safe use of air tools and hand tools.
• Read and understand welding symbols as detailed on WPS and Engineering Drawings.
• Ability to correctly set components to casting to suit customer specifications.
• Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and report any concerns to supervision.

Requirements:

• Experience of welding thin gauge material (0.4-1.0mm)
• Experience/familiar with welding nickel based alloys.
• History of working in IGT, Aero or Automotive industry is preferable but not essential.
