Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is working with a well-established automotive business in Poole to recruit an Entry-Level Vehicle Dismantler. The role offers full training, clear career progression, and a supportive environment where transferable skills are valued.

You will work in a production setting dismantling vehicles, using hand and power tools, and supporting senior technicians while keeping a safe, tidy workshop. On-site parking and staff discounts apply from day one.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in cars, mechanics or engineering.
• Hands-on experience - personal, academic, or work-based.
• A practical mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good attention to detail and a safety-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Working in a production environment assisting in the dismantling of a variety of vehicles.
• Using hand tools and power tools to remove key components in a safe and quality conscious manner
• The processing of items which have been removed, including the cleaning, further disassembly and making safe of the items to be repurposed
• Supporting senior technicians with more complex tasks
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
