Job summary

TeamJobs are recruiting for a Vehicle Dismantler to join a growing automotive recycling business in Poole. If you know your way around a car and enjoy practical hands-on work, this could be a great move away from a traditional garage environment.

You do NOT need previous vehicle dismantling experience. We're keen to hear from Mechanics, Vehicle Technicians, MET Technicians, Strip Fitters or anyone with strong hands-on automotive experience.

Qualifications

• No previous vehicle dismantling experience required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on aptitude.
• Own tools required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling vehicles and removing reusable parts and components.
• Removing engines, gearboxes, suspension, body panels and other mechanical parts.
• Using your own hand tools alongside workshop equipment and power tools.
• Identifying vehicle components and removing them without causing unnecessary damage.
• Working efficiently to daily targets.
• Maintaining a safe and organised working area.
