Job summary

A warm, inclusive special school in Bracknell is seeking a Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join their supportive team. You’ll work with pupils aged 2–19 with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties (SLD/CLD), including ASC and SLCN.

You’ll collaborate with SALT professionals, teachers, and pastoral staff to help pupils find their voice. Real-life, hands-on experience, mentoring from qualified therapists, and ongoing CPD opportunities are provided by Pertemps Education.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability during term-time and able to commute to Bracknell.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group speech and language interventions tailored to pupil needs.
• Support teachers in creating engaging, autism-friendly classroom environments.
• Encourage pupils’ communication, social interaction, and emotional development.
• Collaborate daily with SALT professionals, SEN teachers, and therapists.
• Uphold safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing across all activities.
