Job summary

Dunbia West Devon in Hatherleigh (the cattle abattoir site) is seeking a hands-on operative to join a busy production team. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, and all PPE and equipment are supplied at no extra cost.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00am, with a pay range of £12.71 - £14.03 per hour. You will perform a variety of roles within the abattoir, follow SOPs, and support production targets while upholding health, safety, hygiene

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of roles within the cattle abattoir.
• Follow departmental SOPs.
• Work in a fast-paced production environment in line with operational requirements.
• Collaborate with the manager and wider team to achieve departmental targets.
• Promote and maintain high standards of Health, Safety, Hygiene and Food Safety in line with company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
