Job summary

Bristol Bears is seeking an entry-level Performance Analyst to measure and analyse key performance indicators for players and opposition trends. You will support coaches by tracking progression to optimise on-field performance, including U15–U18 squads and loan/dual registrations where applicable.

Responsibilities include filming sessions, coding footage, producing reports, and assisting with player development presentations. An opportunity to grow within a reputable rugby organisation.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of Rugby Union and its laws.
• Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in high-intensity environments.
• Innovative mindset with commitment to ongoing CPD.
• Expert proficiency in Hudl Sportscode and related software/hardware.
• Proficiency with Apple-based hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance analysis for junior training and match sessions (U15–U18).
• Film sessions, code footage, and produce training packages.
• Code and film matchday fixtures, deliver post-match reports to coaches.
• Support player development with IDP presentations.
