Job summary

Sirona Care & Health's ALDHS in Bristol is seeking an entry level music therapist to join the Arts Therapies Team, delivering therapy to children and young people with learning disabilities across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to provide direct care, liaison with other services and training on working with people who have a learning disability, while promoting reasonable adjustments and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and passionate about improving lives of people with learning disabilities.
• Willingness to work in an arts therapies setting with children and young people.
• Commitment to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessment and formulation of complex psychological needs in context of families and carers.
• Deliver psychological interventions in specialist arts therapy with individuals and groups.
• Undertake effective referral assessment for psychological therapies and contribute to joint referrals.
