Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is hiring a Graduate Manufacturing Digital Solutions Engineer for Explore Manufacturing. Based in Worksop with occasional visits to Oldbury, you will build relationships with operators and translate challenges into practical digital solutions.

You'll join the Graduate Programme, gain hands-on experience across Power BI, Power Apps, and the broader Power Platform, and contribute to smarter, safer, and more efficient manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Curiosity, confidence with people and enthusiasm for using technology to improve processes.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Apps or Power Platform is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with people across our manufacturing teams.
• Talk to colleagues about operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support digital improvement projects across our manufacturing facilities.
• Help develop reporting and dashboards using Power BI.
• Support the development and implementation of digital tools and solutions.
• Prepare, analyse and improve operational data.
• Test new systems and digital tools with users.
• Create clear, accessible process documentation and user guidance.
• Support data quality and governance activities.
• Learn how digital technology can contribute to safer, more efficient and more sustainable manufacturing.
