Job summary

Bouygues Construction Group's VSL UK, based in Waterloo, is seeking an Assistant Cost Controller or recent finance or accounting graduate to support the Senior Cost Controller within the UK finance team. The role covers procurement, subcontractor administration, client billing, project cost control, and broader project administration across major infrastructure, industrial, and energy projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience in a project-based or construction environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders in SAP.
• Assist with goods receipting and supplier payments.
• Support subcontractor payment processes and record-keeping.
• Prepare client invoices and update contract values.
• Produce monthly project cost-control reports and forecasts.
• Support accruals, cost allocations, and audits.
