Job summary

Synergy Medical is recruiting entry-level Care Assistants to join our team across North England. You will provide person-centred support to service users, helping maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing in diverse care environments.

The role emphasizes learning, compassionate care, and teamwork with flexible hours. Training and compliance checks are provided, with a focus on safeguarding and safety protocols in health and social care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous care experience is desirable but not essential for entry-level applicants.
• Care Skills: A willingness to learn and provide person-centred care.
• Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
• Compassion: Caring, patient, and respectful approach towards service users.
• Training: Willingness to complete all required training and compliance checks.
• Right to Work: Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist service users with washing, dressing, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Daily Living: Support individuals with everyday activities while encouraging independence and maintaining dignity.
• Care Support: Provide practical, emotional, and social support based on individual care needs.
• Monitoring: Observe service users and report any changes in their physical, emotional, or behavioural wellbeing to senior staff.
• Mobility: Assist with mobility, repositioning, and transfers in accordance with care plans and safe working practices.
• Communication: Build positive relationships with service users and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other professionals.
• Health & Safety: Follow safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, and other relevant care procedures.
