NEP Group Inc. in Bracknell is seeking an Audio Assistant (Sound) to join our live broadcast team.

The role involves supporting experienced Audio Engineers in the preparation, deployment and operation of professional audio systems for outside broadcasts and events across the UK and internationally. No prior expertise required beyond enthusiasm and a willingness to learn; you’ll gain hands-on training on state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in audio engineering and live production.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test and maintain professional broadcast audio equipment.
• Assist with setup and derig of audio systems on outside broadcasts and live events.
• Learn to configure and operate audio consoles in OB trucks and flypacks.
• Assist with cabling, microphone deployment and talkback
• Support engineers with equipment checks and fault-finding.
• Maintain equipment records and documentation.
• Work with Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Production teams.
• Learn best practices in broadcast engineering and health and safety.
