Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a full‑time SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Borrowash, Derbyshire. You will support an EYFS child with ADHD throughout the school day, helping with routines, engagement and access to learning in a fun, structured way.

The role starts ASAP and runs until July 2027. You’ll join a supportive team and benefit from CPD opportunities, generous pay rates, and ongoing consultant support from TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN / SEND in a primary or Early Years setting.
• Experience supporting children with ADHD.
• Understanding of EYFS and early childhood development.

Responsibilities

• Support a child with ADHD and SEN in a primary/ EYFS setting.
• Help the child engage with classroom activities and routines.
• Contribute to a positive, structured learning environment.
• Create engaging and positive learning experiences.
