Job summary

Holland & Barrett is seeking a Director of Group Strategy to shape the 3-5 year enterprise strategy, guiding investments and prioritising trade-offs across the business. You will work with the CEO, CFO and Executive Committee to align strategic choices with value creation, while exploring growth in wellness partnerships and international opportunities.

You will connect customer, commercial and financial thinking to ensure decisions benefit the entire organisation, not just parts, and you will

Qualifications

Significant senior strategy experience influencing enterprise decisions.
Experience in complex, multi-channel retail or health & wellness environment.
Strong commercial and financial lens with value creation understanding.
Ability to challenge CEO/Board-level stakeholders with data-driven arguments.
Experience in growth strategy, M&A, partnerships, market entry, transformation or portfolio strategy.
Direct, straight-talking style with high challenge and low ego.

Responsibilities

Own H&B's 3-5 year Group strategy and value-creation agenda, turning ambition into clear priorities.
Connect customer, commercial, financial and operational thinking for holistic decisions.
Challenge the business to plan beyond the immediate horizon (3–10 years).
Assess major investment choices, ensure business cases stack up financially.
Shape thinking on future growth from wellness to partnerships and international opportunities.
