Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Infrastructure Platform Engineer/Architect to design and manage enterprise-scale infrastructure for defence and aerospace operations. You will lead architecture across compute, storage, networking and virtualization, and define cloud and hybrid strategies with security alignment.

Role requires deep technical depth, strategic thinking and program leadership, with hands-on guidance to teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS or Azure) and hybrid models.
• Experience with defence, aerospace or government IT environments preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise infrastructure architectures across compute, storage, networking and virtualization.
• Develop cloud strategy and hybrid roadmaps aligned with defence security standards.
• Lead capacity planning and infrastructure optimisation initiatives.
• Design and implement cloud platforms for mission-critical workloads.
• Ensure security controls and regulatory compliance in designs.
• Lead architecture reviews and governance of infrastructure programs.
