Job summary

DXC Technology in Farnborough is seeking an IDAM Architect to design and govern enterprise-scale identity and access management for defence and aerospace programs. You will architect secure authentication, authorization and governance frameworks, and lead IDAM modernisation initiatives ensuring compliance with Defence security standards.

You will lead architecture strategy, vendor evaluations, cloud/hybrid identity, SSO, PAM, RBAC/ABAC and entitlement management while guiding cross-functional

Qualifications

• 12+ years in identity and access management
• 5+ years in architecture roles
• Experience with defence, aerospace or government IDAM programmes
• Expertise with modern identity platforms (Azure AD, Okta, Ping, ForgeRock)
• Track record leading IDAM modernisation and transformation programmes

Responsibilities

• Lead IDAM architecture design and governance across defence and aerospace environments
• Architect authentication, MFA, authorization, RBAC/ABAC and PAM solutions
• Develop identity governance and entitlement management strategies
• Lead technology evaluation and vendor selection for IDAM platforms
• Ensure compliance with MOD classifications, DSPolicy and ITAR requirements
• Guide API-driven identity architectures and microservices identity
• Lead integration of IDAM with enterprise applications and cloud platforms
• Mentor technical teams and establish design standards and governance
