Job summary

Spaulding Ridge seeks a Data Solutions Architect to lead strategy, architecture and delivery of enterprise data/analytics solutions. You will guide data roadmaps, evaluate options, and help clients modernise data environments with trusted data products and reusable engineering capabilities.

You will mentor teams, run architecture reviews, and drive workshops to influence strategic decisions across projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data and analytics delivering enterprise-scale platforms.
• Proven leadership of technical workstreams and cross-team decisions.
• Align architecture with business strategy and roadmaps.
• Experience in pre-sales and client-facing proposals.
• Deep expertise in data warehouses, lakes, lakehouse and analytics ecosystems.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, privacy and compliance.
• Data product thinking and scalable, reusable models.
• Cloud-native data platforms with Snowflake and multi-environment deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and/or GCP services for data and security.
• Experience with BigQuery, Databricks, Synapse, Redshift.
• ELT/ETL, real-time and event-driven data pipelines, APIs.
• Experience with Fivetran, Workato, Boomi, Airbyte integrations.
• dbt, governance, testing and deployment standards.
• DataOps practices for automation and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and governance of data warehouses, lakes and analytics ecosystems.
• Architect cloud-native data platforms covering security, cost and replication.
• Define scalable integration patterns: batch, real-time, API, ELT/ETL.
• Establish standards for analytics engineering and CI/CD.
• Embed metadata, lineage, privacy and data quality controls.
• Lead workstreams, mentor engineers, prepare proposals and briefs.
