Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect in London to shape the firm’s data strategy and governance. You will define target-state data models, drive an analytics-ready platform, and enable AI/ML use cases across business domains with strong governance and security controls.

You will partner with Information Security, Legal and Data Governance teams to embed standards, steward data products, and ensure scalable, trusted data assets that power analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise data architectures and governance frameworks.
• Ability to define target-state data models and patterns for analytics and AI.
• Experience leading data architecture initiatives across multiple domains and teams.
• Strong collaboration with security, privacy and regulatory functions to ensure compliant data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture governance and design assurance for data, analytics and AI solutions across domains.
• Define and embed lakehouse patterns and data product operating models.
• Partner with security, governance and business stakeholders to ensure compliant, scalable data assets.
• Create and maintain roadmaps for enterprise data capabilities including metadata, lineage and quality controls.
• Drive adoption of data products with stewardship and contract/SLAs guidance.
