Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect in London for a global professional services firm with hybrid working. You will own the enterprise data architecture strategy, designing a modern Azure-based data platform while embedding data governance and AI capabilities across the business.

This leadership role includes line management of two Data Architects, collaborating with Data, AI, Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver a scalable, governed data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an Enterprise Data Architect within large, complex organisations.
• Previous line management or leadership experience
• Experience designing modern lakehouse and enterprise data architectures
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, MDM and enterprise data modelling
• Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives and modern AI data platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working within enterprise architecture frameworks and collaborating across multiple architecture disciplines

The Role
An exciting opportunity to join a global organisation undergoing a significant transformation across Data, AI and enterprise architecture.
You'll take ownership of the enterprise data architecture strategy, leading the design of a modern Azure-based data platform while shaping how data products, governance and AI capabilities are embedded across the business.
This is a leadership role with line management responsibility for two Data Architects, working closely with Architecture, Engineering, Data and AI teams to deliver a scalable, governed data ecosystem.
