Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an AV Engineer in London to design and implement world-class collaboration systems across offices in the EMEA region. You will architect AV solutions from concept to commissioning for conference rooms, event spaces, and collaboration areas to enable AI safety research initiatives.

You will ensure scalable standards, lead multi-office deployments, and support day-one occupancy with robust documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise AV systems.
• Proficient in control system programming using Q-Sys or similar.
• Hands-on experience with video conferencing platforms (Google Meet).
• Ability to read and create AV drawings (schematics, line diagrams, rack elevations).
• Understanding DSP concepts for audio (echo cancellation, noise reduction, EQ/dynamics, automixing).
• Familiar with enterprise video distribution, streaming, and broadcast standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead AV design, procurement, and programming for new office builds and expansions.
• Create and maintain AV system designs and documentation (schematics, diagrams).
• Program and commission AV systems to meet use cases and user requirements.
• Ensure day-one occupancy readiness for new offices.
• Coordinate with architects and workplace teams on AV requirements.
• Test and deploy emerging AV technologies to optimize spaces.
• Develop automated solutions to improve reliability and reduce overhead.
• Collaborate with Security and IT to meet enterprise requirements.
• Oversee global AV operations and service delivery standards.
• Manage relationships with AV integrators and vendors.
